Have you always wanted to speak Spanish?

Spanish is now becoming more popular and although there are a lot of apps out there, sometimes the traditional physical interaction with other people and conversations are needed to experience and learn the language better. At Spanish in Durham we teach you with this in mind.

​

Spanish in Durham is the perfect place in the Durham Region to learn and experience the world in Spanish. We have different levels for different ages. And if you prefer to study on a one-on-one basis, we can help you with that too. Both our group and private Spanish sessions are one hour long, once a week. Ask about our lesson packages, the more group lessons in bulk you buy the more you save!

Preschoolers (3-5 years old) I and II

These lessons are intended to introduce the language to your toddler or preschooler through music, puppet plays, story-telling and games. Parents or guardians must be present in the classroom in order to make this a truly enriching experience for the little ones.

6-8 years old - Beginners I, II and III

​

These programs are for children who have little to no knowledge of Spanish. We use games and other engaging activities to help them come out of their shell and have fun learning.

6-8 years old - Spanish speakers

​

This program is for those children who can have basic conversations in Spanish or that understand when spoken to in basic Spanish. These lessons are more fast-paced and writing/reading oriented, which is perfect for those kids who are eager learners.

9-12 years old- Beginner & Intermediate

​

Classes for this age group are a little bit more mixed between independent work and engaging group activities.

Teenagers (13-17 years old)

​

These non-credit lessons are geared towards helping children of this age group not only to learn Spanish but also to learn more about the Spanish-speaking world.
